They replaced a set of component Clarions that were sun-aged but the dimensions were slightly larger than the existing "same size" Clarions... so just be a little extra careful of that. (PS: it was nothing that a good Roto-zip and about 1 hour of cleaning fiberglass dust didn't fix).
They look very nice and sound great mid - treb (added a low-pass block as I have a big sub built in the console so I can't comment on bass response for these speakers) but the sound quality (for 250 Hz and up) is very good.
All-in-all I am quite happy with the purchase.
