(More customer reviews)I purchased a smaller version of this shelter direct from MDM Shelters (formerly Shelter King) two years ago. I live in Utah, where we have pretty intense UV radiation. I was assured by the sales person that the shelter would be suitable for my location. Less than a year old, the shelter started degrading, causing the material to weaken, tear and come apart. I was shipped a new cover, and after only one summer my shelter came apart again. I was away for several months, and returned home to find the shelter completely shredded, most of the cover material was brittle and easily came apart in my hands. The top was almost completely gone, after breaking up it was carried away by the wind. I can only assume this is from the UV rays, but this shelter clearly has very little protection from UV radiation. If you live in the southwest, or at altitude in the rocky mountain region, I would strongly recommend against buying this product.... it will be a waste of your money, as it will simply not last.
